How Do I Return an Item?
  1. Visit our Returns Portal and enter your order number and zip code.
  2. Choose the item(s) you would like to return.
  3. Choose a Return Method
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to finish your return and receive your return label.
  5. Package your item, attach the label, and drop it off at the courier location or mailbox for USPS labels.
  • Our Returns Portal for exchanges and labels are currently only offered to United States customers. The automated system excludes orders being shipped from Canada, certain US territories, and International orders. For all returns and exchanges outside of the US please contact support@bornofwater.com 

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Clothing must be returned in original condition for resale, unless it’s defective.
  • Clothing must be returned clean, unused and unwashed – no pet hair, human hair, smoke odors, or makeup stains.
  • Clothing must be returned with all labels and tags attached.
  • Use your own secure packaging for return or exchange.
  • Customers are responsible for all shipping charges on returns and exchanges, unless the return is a result of our shipping error.
  • Returns are refunded in the method of original payment.
  • Your return will be processed and your credit card will be refunded approximately 3-5 business days after we receive your return.

What is Your Return Policy?

Return Window: 30 Day Return Period

If you receive merchandise that you are unhappy with for any reason, simply return it to Born of Water within 30 days of delivery - in the original, unused condition that you received it - and you will receive a full refund of the purchase price. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.)

After 30 days and up to 60 days we will issue a store credit that is good for one year.

You should expect to receive your refund within a few days of us receiving your return. Please allow 7-10 business days to process your return. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the courier (3 to 5 business days) and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (1 to 3 business days).

No returns on Clearance or Final Sale items

What if My Item is Damaged or Defective?

If your item arrives damaged, visit our Returns Portal and enter your order number and zip code to start the exchange process.

Simply return the damaged or defective item to Born of Water within 30 days of delivery - in the original, unused condition that you received it - and you will receive your choice of replacement item or a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs. After 30 days and up to 60 days we will issue a store credit that is good for one year.

What if My Order Does Not Arrive?
  1. Confirm that the correct delivery address was provided.
  2. Check with any other members of the household to make sure the package was not picked up by one of them and put in an odd location.
  3. If you live in an apartment complex, please contact your rental office to see if they are holding your package there. Some packages won’t fit in your mailbox so carriers will often leave packages at a manager’s office for safekeeping.
  4. Call your local courier office or delivery person (ie: USPS, UPS, DHL) and inquire if the package was placed in a non-typical location. (ie: on the porch, to a neighbor, etc.) Postal carriers are now equipped with GPS scanners so the Post Office should be able to locate the exact delivery location via GPS data from the scanner. Using this information, they can tell you exactly where the package was left. Typically they have more information than what we can see online. They may even have your package on hold for you. If they have a postmaster at your local post office, ask to speak with him/her first.
    We have found that 99% of missing package cases are resolved by following the steps we have outlined above.
  • If after following the above steps does not resolve the issue, please reach out to our customer service team and we will gladly assist.
  • If your order has been marked as delivered but has been stolen, we are unable to process a refund or replacement. Therefore, please ensure the delivery address provided is a secure location.
Are Returns Free?

United States Orders: Returns are Free in The USA.
International Orders: There are no additional fees associated with returns, however, return shipping cost, as well as any customs, duty, and taxes are non-refundable. If you refuse a shipment because of unexpected import fees, the cost of the original shipping, any brokerage/customs/duty/taxes, and any return shipping charges will not be refunded.

Clearance & Final Sale Items

Clearance and final sale items are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

Why Did My Exchange Become a Refund?

In the event that an item is no longer in stock at the time of your exchange is processed or fulfilled, a refund will be processed instead.
