How Does It Work?
Born of Water wants to help promote awareness of important charities and causes on all levels. When we formed Born of Water, we looked at numerous charitable causes to support and why we should support them...
What we found out was there are a lot of great causes out there. We felt that instead of choosing just one to support, why not bring together a community of great organizations and let our customers decide which ones they would like to support. In this way, we get to help out multiple organizations that help change the world in which we live, not just one.
When we choose to design a shirt for a non-profit or charitable organization that promotes environmental, social or other good causes, not only do we create an item that endorses the organization and raises money for that group, but Born of Water will also place the item for sale on our website further helping to gainawareness and raise money for your organization.
When our customers purchase a charitable T-shirt or garment with the Charity Eco-Icon, they not only receive a shirt thatis fashionable, but they purchase these items knowing that they are giving something back.
What we have found is that the people who purchase charity T-shirts are typically interested in other organizations that help make the world a better place. Often wanting to become more involved and requesting additional more information on organizations found on our website.
Which Types of Charitable Organizations Do We Support?
At Born of Water, we truly love the ocean and the outdoors and we want to protect the amazing places where we play and relax. We love to support individuals and organizations that take a proactive initiative in protecting the environment or promote eco-friendly practices; however, any non-profit, not-for-profit, charitable foundation or 501(c)(3) is eligible to be supported by Born of Water.

What We'll Do For Your Organization
As with any company, ourfunds are limited and we cannot help every charitable organization (though we would like to). If your organization is chosen to be sponsored by Born of Water and depending on our available resources, we will help in one or more of the following ways:
- Apparel Costs Waived or Deferred
- T-shirts or apparel will be offered for sale in our Shirts That Give Back section
- Promote and support your organization or cause via our website, newsletter and/or other media avenues
- Graphic Design Services Waived or discounted
- Discounts on apparel and printing services
